It was a beautiful warm spring morning and the cherry blossoms at the tidal basin were in full bloom. Ok, who am I kidding? If you were in Washington that week, you know it was a cold week when the cherry blossoms were supposed to be in full bloom. It was in the 30’s with gray skies that morning and I equipped myself with my North Face gear to stay warm. I loaded my equipment in our Prius hybrid and arrived at the tidal basin in 20minutes through HOV. I was to shoot two engagement sessions starting at 8a that morning.
