I received a facebook message from Carlo sometime last year inquiring about wedding photography for their destination wedding. I’ve known Carlo for years from volleyball. What I didn’t know is that he’s a pastry chef. After our client consultation, they decided to hire us. The destination: the posh Beach Palace in Cancun, Mexico.
The Beach Palace provided modern backdrops with its architecture and decor. Its service is phenomenal. The ceremony was held at the rooftop Sky Terrace with a birdseye view of the Cancun shoreline. The ceremony was concluded with fireworks after the two were pronounced husband and wife. And the reception was held at the Palenque Terrace overlooking the bay side. In all, there were about 75 guests. It was nice seeing some familiar faces and even better meeting new ones.
Though the reception unofficially ended early due to weather, it was soon relocated without missing a beat to an indoor lounge where it continued through the morning hours I’m sure.AI was warned that there was going to be crazy partying and that they did. I was able to hang out a little bit after shooting thenAhad to call it in early because I had a 5a pickup to the airport the next morning.
