Entrepreneur of the Year

It's been a hectic past couple of weeks. It was very exciting to learn that I was named the national "Entrepreneur of the Year" by the Asian American Business Roundtable (AABR). This is a huge recognition for the 10 years of experience I had with my IT company. I also held press interviews from the Washington Business Journal, Washington SmartCEO and several national Filipino newspapers. WBJ covered my award two weeks ago and Washington SmartCEO will have a feature this coming December.

For me, it's nice to sometimes be recognized for the work that you do. I'm not big in being in the limelight, but this is certainly an honor for me especially at 30.

On the Washington Business Journal

Amanda Long, an editor with the Washington Business Journal (WBJ) weekly magazine, contacted my PR person last night.  She informed him that I will appear in the Sources Say section of this week’s issue. A photo of me will also appear in the publication.  This is my second photo to run in WBJ since November. WBJ is the most read business publication in the region. Over 105,000 government and private sector executives and their staff scan the pages of WBJ every week.
