Godfrey’s interest in photography started back in the days of film. He has shot varying photographic styles and with different environmental and lighting situations, both indoors and outdoors.  He can often be found either with his trusty Nikon F100, 35mm film camera, or his Yashica medium format film camera when shooting for his personal portfolio.  His appreciation for other photographic medium has allowed him to gain a better understanding and respect for the different aspects of photography, which he applies to every Baltazar {photography} assignment.

Godfrey’s great traits are his patience and sense of timing. From a special smile between couples or a child’s wonderment and awe, he will wait patiently to capture those beautiful moments.

Every wedding or event is unique and presents its own opportunities and challenges.  To find those photo opportunities and limit challenges, Godfrey studies every aspect available about the event beforehand.  During the event, his preferred shooting mode is ‘S’ – for subtlety.  As much as possible, the captured moments are as true and real as when they happened. Yet you may not have noticed Godfrey capturing it, until you see the beautiful pictures!  He works patiently with couples and families to ensure that they are comfortable during the shoot and together develop the photographs that Baltazar {photography} is known for.

When not shooting, Godfrey enjoys anything automotive related.  From attending high-performance driving events to yearly car shows, he will always try to find an excuse to see, touch, and feel the lines on a newly developed vehicle or a fine classic.
